DEER LODGE April 24 Special John Keel 55 was sentenced to life at hard labor in the state penitentiary for the murder of James L. Taylor at the Elkhorn hotel during a card game quarrel. Keel pleaded guilty before Judge W Carroll of Butte and remained calm as the sentence was imposed. The shooting followed a heated dispute that began in the hotel lobby Tuesday night and resumed Wednesday morning as Taylor descended the stairs.
