Butte-Silver Bow commissioners narrow a plan to tax street maintenance by unit rather than parcel. The move would keep overall revenue near 1.60 million but exclude 2,600 vacant parcels while adding about 2,900 units including apartments and mobile homes. A public hearing and resolution follow further committee review before final approval.
Butte High School 12 member SkillsUSA team qualified for the national event in Atlanta after 10 members placed first at the Helena state competition.
