AP reports U.S. Navy AG Intruder bombers hit the revived Uong Bi power plant near Hai Phong Monday night, aiming to pressure Hanoi. Hanoi claimed four enemy planes shot down, including one over Hai Phong, as South Korean troops clashed with Viet Cong near Qui Nhon. American Australian forces said 47 Viet Cong killed and 26 captured in ongoing operations. B52s continued daily runs from Guam.

Heintz snagged 4.95 million for 11 miles of relocation and 3.6 miles of road, while Zook Brothers of Great Falls won 2.28 million for forest road work. A 4,228 dollar water well contract went to C. G. Plumbing and Heating of Libby. Work begins within 10 days. project completion 1973 with dam bids planned for August.
