Romance of a noble lord and maid ends in tragedy
New York April 18. The 1880s romance of a young lord who left an old title for a maid ended with the death of Eliza Sheldon Uarrican Drum mond, widow Mrs Drummond, in Brooklyn at 89. Viscount Forth Drummond gave up wealth to wed the lady, later living as tenant and servant, before he died of tuberculosis at 31 in 1887.
