Juvenile Charged in Butte Shooting Court Battle
Mark Rask a 17 year old son of John Rask will stand trial in Butte district court on first degree assault charge. The judge bound over Rask to district court and flagged two other juveniles to face charges connected to the February 16 South Side shooting of Tom Booth who was shot five times. Booth testified Rask fired the shot while another youth implicated a different shooter.

Bunkhouse Fire Ends Ranch Hand’s Night
In Augusta Montana the Dawson ranch bunkhouse burned to the ground after Peter Gervais 59 was seen entering to bed down. Sheriff Coroner Dave Middleman planned to search the charred remains as investigations followed.
