Bombers target area missile near border as SAM threat grows
The report notes a bomber’s target area missile becoming the 14th U.S. warplane down by a SAM since February 7 1965. It marks the closest sighting of a SAM to the South Vietnamese border, with prior SAM activity concentrated around Hanoi. U.S. and Vietnamese forces killed two Viet Cong raiders who attacked Tan Son Nhut airbase. The assault wounded 109 Americans and 19 Vietnamese, destroyed or damaged 33 aircraft, and damaged the control tower. Paratroopers and Vietnamese rangers began Operation Denver in the central highlands.

Boulder hospital funds approved for Boulder project

Kennedy defies bid to resign Montana Historical Society director

Bozeman to dedicate municipal building
