Kenneth William Olsen 38 of Okemos Michigan was chosen unanimously as Butte schools superintendent from 45 candidates. He will replace retiring Charles Davis July 1 with a three year renewable contract. Olsen, PhD, oversees 3,400 students in Okemos and previously served as Pontiac administrator. He holds degrees from Utah BYU MSU and has a military background.
