Fire destroys Irvington House Cardiac Home
A furnace explosion ignited a blaze at Irvington House Cardiac Home in Irvington New York. An employee Edward Bryce 28 suffered severe burns while 78 children 16 bed ridden were led to safety by 14 nurses led by Miss Lena Buffton. Six other children were sheltered at nearby hospitals with no injuries. The building cost 100000 was razed.

Plane Crash Kills Girl In Pecos Barnstorming Flight
In Pecos Texas April 12 one person was killed and multiple others injured when a barnstorming plane carrying passengers stalled after takeoff from Pecos airport. Miss Letha Prewit was killed instantly and pilot Jack Eckles suffered cuts and a broken nose. Mrs William curren Pecos and William Turner sustained serious internal injuries. The Turner children were shaken with one breaking a leg. The flying circus plane crashed about 100 feet up after a stall and sideslip.

De Molay Conclave Elects Highland Chapter Leader
More than 600 delegates attended Montana Order of De Molay events in the Mining City for a two day session ending with a banquet and grand ball at the Masonic temple. Kelvin Dawson of Highland chapter was elected state president and will lead the group as officers were sworn in and business closed. Dawsons long active status in the organization was noted. Harry T. Lewis 61 founder of the Lewis and Walker assaying firm died suddenly at his home 1901 Grand Avenue. He had been caring for his lawn when a heart attack struck. a physician was summoned but he died before care arrived. Twenty Die In Coal Mine Gas Blast Near Tacoma

Conductor killed stepping from engine at Kalispell
H M Foster conductor on the Whitefish Kalispell branch was instantly killed in Kalispell when he stepped to the depot platform and fell beneath the wheels. He was riding on the front of the engine and is survived by his wife and two daughters in Whitefish.

Tragedy at Three Forks Claims Two Youths in Flight
Herman Carlson a 24 year old Butte pilot and William Gordon an 18 year old Three Forks high school junior were killed when their airplane plunged from 200 feet onto Cemetery hill near Three Forks.
