Goodale Funeral Set for Monday in New England
The death of Charles Warren Goodale the dean of western mining engineers was reported yesterday. He will be buried Monday afternoon at Mount Auburn Massachusetts with crematory services at 2:30 pm Memorial services will be held here at the same hour. In Butte friends and business associates including W B Roll and David Goodale informed the press. The MIT alumni chapters in Butte and Great Falls will send flowers as will the Montana Society of Engineers and the Montana chapter of the AIME. The news cast a gloom over gatherings and the Y M C A Roundup club paused its noon meeting.

Washington April 12 The first signs of a farm relief contest at the special session surfaced as senate and house agriculture committees clashed over including the export debenture plan of the national grange in the new farm bill. The house group urged Hoover to see a draft bill and said a majority in the house opposed the debenture idea. The senate panel heard experts testify the debenture plan works well in Norway and Germany and McNary said members were impressed by the experts. Some senators indicated support for the debenture proposal as part of the McNary bill unless opposition emerged.

Jones Law Indicts 100+ Under New Montana Statute
More than a score of Montanans were indicted by a federal grand jury in Great Falls under the Jones law.
