Brazilian Train Crash Kills 20 near Rio Magno station

Two passenger trains collided at dawn near Magno station in suburban Rio de Janeiro. Twenty people were killed and 20 injured as one train halted in mist and was struck by the second train. Police and ambulance crews removed the injured and dead from the tangled wreckage.

Gunmen invade rural home. elderly man killed in four-state search

Another Storm Buries Much Of Plains Area

Snow blanketed the Eastern Slope of the Central Rockies as a third major storm in two weeks moved from Colorado toward Kansas and Oklahoma. Traffic Argument Ends in Death Oakland Fight Leaves One Dead in Front of Home

Police report a Saturday night clash between drivers over a near collision erupted into a knife and bottle attack in Oakland. Calvin Johnson 21, was booked for murder after a confrontation with Tommy Kai ser 25. Clarence Grilho 25 died, Kaiser stabbed, others wounded. Johnson and several allies confronted Kaiser's group at San Pablo Ave. The violence began with a disputed left turn and escalated with knives and bats.
