Montana rural rehabilitation board outlines new deal for farmers
Helena April 7. The first session of Montana's rural rehabilitation board finished a detailed summary of immediate and long term measures to aid 10 000 needy farm families. The report approved by state relief director T C Spaulding includes recommendations schemes and lines for carrying out the plan to revitalize Montana agriculture. Robert Clarkson Chateau director of rural rehabilitation said the report must reach Washington by April 10.

Independents win big in School District 1 trustees race
Arthur Lehwalder and Frank Reardon of the Independent party were elected trustees, giving Independents four seats to three for Citizens on the new board.
