Ill-Fated Planes Pilot Blamed in Queens Crash
A Civil Aeronautics Board official said the pilot apparently did not follow radioed tower instructions before a cargo plane crashed in a Queens residential area. Four Die in Crash of Navy Aircraft
Four men died when a twin-engined Navy plane failed in fog and rain, slamming into a mountain peak about nine miles south of Los Gatos, California. The wreckage burned and four bodies were recovered. Auto Wrecks Kill Three Montanans

Wolf Point reports two more highway crash fatalities in western Montana as Melvin Eagle Boy 22 of Poplar and LeRoy Bearcub 26 of Wolf Point die after their auto hits the Tulle Creek bridge on U S Highway 2 and buries into the stream bed.
