British Troops Take Addis Ababa Capital of Ethiopia
British forces announced they reached Addis Ababa the capital on Saturday evening completing a rapid advance. The Italian garrison reportedly fled Italy and Ethiopian patriots led by Haile Selassie surrounded Debra Markos while other Italian holds in southern Ethiopia are isolated and yielding to advancing South African troops.
