Millegan Rites Set for Tuesday at Helena
Funeral services for Maude Millegan 87 will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the Opp Conrad Retz chapel in Helena. She died Sunday at her Seaver Park home after 68 years of marriage to Robert E. Millegan. Survivors include son Robert L. Millegan and daughter-in-law Margaret Ann Millegan, plus siblings and many relatives. The Very Rev. Charles A. Milson will officiate, with burial in Forestvale Cemetery Polson.

In Greensboro April 5 farmer D W Pitts found eight acres of land on his farm had dropped into a 60 foot deep hole. Neighbors recall hearing a loud noise Thursday but rains delayed investigation. State Geologist Robert N Vernon says the collapse likely came from water eroding underlying limestone formations.
