Workmen razing the original Deer Lodge county Methodist church South in Anaconda uncovered a tin cornerstone box with records and a Bible. The 1884 structure, behind the Montana hotel, housed sealed papers and a fly leaf noting the gift by George Kinney and Charlotte Kinney. The Bible was presented to the church for the Kinney family and had traveled from Wisconsin.
