Los Angeles officials report that forged Liberty bonds and other securities stolen by the Pretty Boy Floyd gang and related outlaw groups in Midwest bank holdups have turned up in Los Angeles. Assistant U S Attorney Ernest R Utley announced a new grand jury probe with one prominent bank official already questioned.

Elliott, returning from the Nourmahal, claimed his father wasn't having any luck.

Second Lieutenant John Leland McAlister of Langley Field leaped from an army plane seconds before it crashed into Healy's mountain near Altoona. He cited past 20 year averages of 200 million from minerals 80 million from forests 15 million from soils and 12 million from streams with a per capita wealth around 600 amid a 500000 population.
