Nearly half of Walkerville voters braved a heavy snowfall to cast ballots for nine city offices though none for mayor. Mayor James R. Nine ski victims recovered after Austrian avalanche
Austrian rescue teams recovered nine bodies from the Ke matenalm avalanche scene. Seven of the victims are German skiers and two are Austrian guides. The Sunday slide occurred on the 6,300 foot mountain in Innsbruck region, prompting a large rescue operation.

Last Rites Today For Ex Judge Stanley Felt
Former District Judge Stanley Felt died of a heart ailment in Billings at 81. Funeral services set for Tuesday afternoon. A native of Iowa, Felt served Baker as district judge from 1921 to 1936 and practiced law in Billings since 1937. Survivors include his widow Harriet A. Kelly two sons James and Thomas two foster daughters twenty grandchildren and foster grandchildren and two sisters.
