Richard A. Kunkel, Butte Pioneer, Dies at 75
Richard A. Kunkel, a Montana banker and automobile dealer known in Butte for fifty years, died at 6 30 yesterday morning at his home 650 South Jackson Street after a long illness. He was 75 years eight months old, born August 1 1864 in Payetteville Pennsylvania. He moved west, first to Nebraska then to Anaconda in 1887, to Butte in 1891, and later joined Montana Auto and Garage with C V Fulton at Arizona and Broadway. He belonged to the Silver Bow and Butte Country clubs. Continued on page 2 column 3.

Ex-convicts held for theft of state liquor
