Redfern spoke on Our Greatest Southern All. Invited guests included Mesdames W. J. Rudge, D. L. Middleton, Kirby Hough, Chester, and Miss Maude Nixon. The club voted to donate its refreshments and books money to the Red Cross. Postcards of Old Glory were given as souvenirs.
