Hamlin's Ride to Camp Supply and a Lost Honor
In a dramatic episode at Camp Supply, Major Hamlin returns with dispatches from Custer after a brutal trek across the north. Sheridan, aided by Shultz’s deposition, pledges to clear Hamlin’s stain from a past court-martial while revealing Dupont’s fate and hints of Custer’s last words to Hamlin. The scene closes as a nurselike Miss McDonald aids the exhausted soldier.
