The ceremony featured Mendelssohn wedding march, pink and white decor, and a bell of dairies under which the couple wed. Reverend M D L Preslar officiated and the couple departed after receiving gifts from guests.

Mrs Minnie Hunter Matthews died at two o'clock Tuesday after apoplexy. Eldest daughter of W.S.S. Hunter and Elizabeth Matthews Hunter, she leaves two sons Henry Beth and Oliver Pharr Matthews, four sisters, four brothers, and many stepchildren. Funeral held at Providence church with local pastors officiating.
