London dispatch reports Lord Derby's figures for October to December showing 1,150,000 unmarried and 1.67 percent married men presented for service. Of 2,820,263 total, 108,000 are married and 112,441 enlisted immediately. 840,000 single and 4,978 married men were attested or for future service. Single men 207,000 were rejected while 221,852 married men were not accepted. The canvass began with 2,179,281 single and 2,2100 married men not enlisted. total attested, enlisted and rejected 2,429,263. Available men show 2,182,178 did not offer.
