Reverend J. H. Weaver Dies After Illness in Greensboro
Dr. J H Weaver longtime pastor of Monroe Methodist Church and Greensboro district presiding elder died suddenly in Greensboro after collapsing at court square while waiting for a flower car. He served in Ashe, Avery, Hickory, Salisbury and other locales and was a renowned educator’s father. He was 65, married to Jennie Burkett, with one son Charles C Weaver Ph D. and five grandchildren. His remains expected to be buried in Henry County Virginia.
