McLarty Dead Former Clerk and Senator Dies at Home
George C. McLarty longtime Monroe resident and former Superior Court Clerk and State Senator died at his home on December 15 after lingering health issues. He was 61 missing chance to reach 62. Survived by wife two sisters and several sons he was a Confederate veteran and former furniture business owner. Funeral held today at residence with interment at McLarty burying ground.
