House Wrecked By Water Spout Near Beaufort
The home of Captain Joseph Pigott eight miles from Beaufort on The Straits inland waterway was struck by a waterspout Saturday before dawn. Captain Pigott his wife and seven children slept on the second floor as the house was destroyed with only fragments remaining.
