Well Known Citizen Doster Dies After Illness
Mr J Frank Doster a respected resident of southwest Monroe township died at his home Saturday evening after a lingering illness. He was about seventy years old and had lived on the land adjoining the church in Mineral Springs where his grave is laid out. Funeral services were conducted Sunday by Rev Abernethy of Monroe and Rev Sandford of Waxhaw. He leaves nine children eight sons and one daughter and a large family circle mourn his loss. He was a loyal neighbor active in Carmel Methodist affairs and well known for his energy and good judgment. He is survived by a full brother and two full sisters, with several other relatives.
