Red Cross Drive Opens in Millville Area

Wayne T. Wright announces the 1950 Red Cross solicitations start now for the Millville branch. C. Derr is named treasurer with captains B. Clair Bardo Franklin Watts Diehl and Donald E. Bangs. Two Car Crash Yields $13.50 Fine in Pennsylvanian Court

Charles J. Stackhouse, in a two car collision last Friday at State and Main, paid a fine and costs of 13.50 before Justice Wallace W. Eve s. The charge too fast for conditions came from state patrolman Pvt. P W Haggerty.

First D7 Family Arrives In Millville

The Nillville Reporter interviews the first displaced persons in the area Mr and Mrs Nikolajs Janners daughter Inta and son Sigurs from Riga Latvia now living on the Girton farm. Mr Janners worked as plant manager in a Riga glass factory and as an engineer in a chemical plant. The family fled the communist threat from 1944 to just months ago and describes food price levels and wages in occupied Latvia.
