Always in Trouble Play Set for Legion Hall Tomorrow

A three act comedy titled Always in Trouble played at the Legion Hall last Saturday but one actor was missing. The company will present the full show tomorrow night January 11 with one act already well received. Reserved tickets from last Saturday will be honored. The review says the public will enjoy it more than the school play last year.

Two Officers Combined in Gregory Land Office

John Widlow will hold both register and receiver roles in the Gregory United States Land Office after a presidential consolidation order takes effect in sixty days. The move follows Congress authorizing the union where salaries combine. Widlow becomes the first to hold both posts.

Co operative shipping pays well for livestock farmers

Melette and Jones counties see real gains as Murdo based cooperative shipping cuts marketing costs and boosts prices. A Farmers Union dividend of 40 percent on Sioux City commissions is prorated back to original shippers, with detailed per shipper returns, and several carloads show net gains after all charges.
