Mr Henry Rasmussen reports the Johnson Fuel Co Fairfax has sold its stock and holdings in North Dakota including the Scranton coal deposits briquetting plant and the patent right in North Dakota Montana and Wyoming to the Standard Fuel Co Sioux Falls SD The sale values stock at three to one and the Johnson Co retains patent rights in other states and a 100000000 ton lignite coal option in northwestern South Dakota and anticipates Northwestern railroad expansion from Winner to the deposits.
Congress provides by law for badges and medals to officers and enlisted men who served in Civil War campaigns Spanish American War Philippine Insurrection Boxer Expedition Cuban occupation Vera Cruz Mexican Border and World War I. Medals are free. badges sold at cost 65 cents each by the United States Mint with proper certificate. Congressman Harry L.
