Man Overcome By Gas In Well
A Harding County homesteader named Kimi Wallin, unmarried and in good standing, suffocated by gas in a four foot well near Haley. Workers including Mr Wallie and Mr Bone used dynamite to free the shaft then attempted to rescue Wallin who descended into the shaft to inspect the gas but did not survive.
