About 85 members of the 2 WW railroad workers struck near Col bin Montana after claiming they were fed only twice since leaving Chicago. They uncoupled coaches, threatening trouble unless fed, and were later given meals by agents while authorities detained the train briefly.
Obituary records Henry Sylvester and Smily Jane Philips from North Lemmon and White Water Wis. Philips born October 3 181, married to Henry Sylvester February 21 1866. They resided in Manit, Ipswich, Perkins County before moving to Merth Lemmon where relatives mourn their loss.
City commissioners plan extensive improvements on main streets and sidewalks for next year with an appropriation of 10 000 dollars. Lemmon leads in street and sidewalk work and the funding aims to improve crossings and encourage private sidewalk projects in front of properties.
