French horse buyers return to the city on the 9th month to purchase horses. Farmers can sell excess stock at up to 170 dollars per head as inspectors push lower standards. Demand may fall soon as horse use wanes. a second inspection this fall is unlikely.

Young Man Drowns in Ry Reservoir Near Morristown
Everett Irons aged 21 or 71? drowned while duck hunting near Morristown as he stepped into a deep spot in the railway reservoir three miles east. Sheriff Ralph Hayward oversaw recovery and life was beyond hope. Irons, son of Mr and Mrs Sam Irons, had studied engineering at Austin and recently filed on land nearby. Funeral services followed.

Strawberries Picked In October Near Lemmon
