Passed Away Very Suddenly
Charles Hill died at Lemmon, South Dakota, May 8 1914 at age 47 after a long illness. His funeral was held at the Presbyterian church in Lemmon with Rev. Martin Hyink officiating. Interment was in Lemmon cemetery. He leaves a wife Josephine Lantz two brothers and a mother in Indiana and Kansas City. In Burlington on May 13 a cave‑in at a band of youths robber den trapped Oxcar Tiluar fifteen and two companions, killing Tiluar and injuring the others who escaped. A fourth boy nearby alerted rescuers. two were freed promptly while Tiluar lay buried forty minutes before the body was found.
