Commercial Club Adopts Resolution on Petition Circulation

The Commercial Club motioned by P A Finep authorized a two person committee to circulate a petition among Lemmon residents asking the city council to submit the question of a commission form of government. The club noted by laws it must not engage in political matters yet resolved circulators should file the petition with the city auditor and publish a copy in both papers.

Tree planting sale offers various nursery stock to public

The Commercial Club of Lemmon promotes a limited time sale of trees and shrubs at deep discounts. Special prices include Sween Box-elders at 14 cents, elm 22 cents, soft maple 14 cents, Russian olive 7 to 15 cents, Norway poplar 45 cents, black hills spruce $1.00, with all fruit and shrubbery 50 percent off. Injured Milwaukee Conductor Harry Hill Near Mobridge

Harry H. Hill a Milwaukee railroad conductor was critically injured in McIntosh while crossing tracks and was transported to Mobridge for surgery. He lost his right leg below the knee and his right arm, with a dislocated left hip, but survived. Hill, married with a child, is known in Aberdeen and among railroad men. a special train carried him for treatment as doctors prepared him for surgery.

Special Dairy Train To Visit Lemmon

The Dairy Husbandry department of the State, with the State Dairymen's Association, will run its second Dairy Silo Alfalfa train from March 30 for a week. It travels Mitchell to Farmingdale and Aberdeen to Lemmon, visiting many towns. The train includes exhibit, lecture, stock, hat, milking, dining, and sleeping cars with speakers from state colleges and associations.
