Ward Flamme Wedding in Orange Township

Ward and Flamme were married at the bride’s home in Orange township on a Saturday afternoon at 2:00. The ceremony, performed by Justice J. F. Paul Gross, drew a large gathering of neighbors and friends. The couple will establish their home on the bride’s homestead in the east end of Orange township.

Bison Plans Gala Day on June 23 Annual Celebration

Bison will hold its annual celebration Monday June 23 marking the town’s gala day. The event features ball games foot races horse races and humorous attractions as neighbors enjoy a festive neighborhood gathering not held on July 4th.

Examination for Forest Clerk and Field Clerks Scheduled

Notice of a July 9 1913 examination in Lemmon for Forest Clerk in the Forest Service and field clerks in the reclamation service across Iowa Minnesota Nebraska North Dakota South Dakota Montana and Wyoming. Boy Dies After Farmyard Horse Kick

Adam Bleth two and a half years old son of Jacob Bleth was kicked in the forehead by a horse on his father's farm. Frontal bone crushed, brain injured, he remained conscious at times. He died Wednesday after treatment in Aberdeen. Funeral Saturday at Assumption church.

Marmarth Burglary Snare Nets Two Suspects

Chief Axtell and Deputy Nesbitt captured two burglars in Marmarth after a hardware store break in on Monday night. Officers recovered knives and goods, with more suspects feared at large. Axtell faced scrutiny for going unarmed during the raid. Tom Ford’s death after a stair accident is noted with memorial passages lauding his life.

Dairyist Visit Plan For State Dairy Official

Superintendent Ryger of the State Dairy will visit Lemmon and nearby towns in an itinerary starting Monday January. The schedule includes Lemmon on the 28th with visits to Lein Meadow Bison Strool and other points to boost dairy interest. Ryger has lectured at Lemmon Infare and is recognized as a versatile dairy specialist.

Remembered for Kindliness at Tom's Funeral

The community mourns old Tom with kind memories as funeral services were held Wednesday at Mary's church. Wreaths and prairie flowers adorned the coffin, and a long procession escorted him to Lennon cemetery for burial, with many friends paying tribute.

Man Shoots Self After Letter Explains Motive Near Watanga

Local neighbors found Riettuerd Strat near Watanga after he shot himself with a rifle Saturday morning. A letter described the motive and directed relatives to be informed. Funeral plans listed the McIntosh Cemetery and the Tayes of Hillshore attended by residents.
