The seventh annual Firemen's Ball in Lemmon invites all citizens and property holders to buy tickets. Fire crews donate their services year round and risk injury to protect property, asking community support to cover incidental expenses.
The Record of Chance advocates locating a Farmer's Co operative Creamery at Chance. It argues proximity to cream markets in Seim Stroal Faith Isabel and favors near ice pond water supply, cheap fuel from a nearby mine, and a short haul for lower costs to ensure success.
The Lemmon Commercial Club previews opening a local creamery in spring.
