Chas A Sutherland known as Jim Clayton, famed horse thief, was jailed in the Bismarck penitentiary after Sheriff Barrett captured him on a four year old horse theft charge. The case ties to 1909 BowMan Fourth of July horse robbery and a later confession signed in court. Continued to page 5.

Nashville Students Entertainment a Star Theatre Success
Nashville Students presented a lively program of singing dancing and instrumental music at the Star Theatre on Monday evening. A large crowd filled the house with standing room scarce and many turned away. The Rosary saxophone solo impressed, hoop rolling act praised as one of the best, and the dancers and clean jokes earned strong applause. The show was hailed as one of the best of its kind to visit Lemmon and likely to draw another packed audience if they return.
