Ronald Roberts Heads Summer School at Sea Aboard Texas Clipper

Ronald Roberts of the social science department will teach history on the Texas Clipper from June 7 to August 10 as part of the Summer School at Sea program arranged through Texas A M University. About 250 cadets from the Texas Maritime Academy will sail 13 000 nautical miles with 95 freshmen aboard.

Lit Mag Renascence Returns After 30 Years at College Bookstore

The college reissues Renascence the first literary magazine in three decades selling for 25 cents. It features art poetry and short stories by 18 students led by Donald Dial as editor in chief and Crispin James as production editor. Faculty sponsors are Merrill Brown Philip Dignam and Ellen Spiller. Proceeds support the student activity fund.

BSU Ends Semester with Notable Year at Lee College

The Baptist Student Union closes a successful year at Lee College led by President Paul Witt. Activities included a Leadership Training Conference, a trip to the Baptist Student Convention in Fort Worth, a spaghetti supper for 150 attendees, and weekly luncheons hosted by local churches. The BSU building will stay open through the summer for recreation and fellowship.
