The LEE LOG yearbook distribution starts 10:55 a.m. Wednesday May 15 in the main building lobby with a brief ceremony led by Joan Mc Alvany. Subscribers pick up books by lineup order. remaining copies go on sale May 22 at Office A from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Lee College Announces Largest Commencement Class Plans
Lee College will hold its largest graduating class with baccalaureate services on May 26 and a formal commencement on May 31. Speaker for the main address is John E. Gray executive vice president of First National Bank of Beaumont who formerly led Lamar College. The Sunday service features Rev. A Grady Hallonquist Riverside Methodist Church.

All-School Picnic Set for May 18
The all school picnic will be at Atascosita Country Club on Saturday May 18. Swimming dancing and outdoor games will be available. A picnic supper will be served. Admission price has been set at 50c per person.

Twelve New Teachers to Join Lee College Staff
Dean Walter Rundell announced that due to expected enrollment growth Lee College will add twelve new teachers next year. The new hires include specialists in business administration chemistry engineering English mathematics physics psychology social sciences and speech. Rundell led a 7500 mile interview trip to Texas cities and regions across the South Midwest and East, accompanied by Mrs. Rundell.

Phi Theta Kappa Convention in Lawton Elects Texas Officers
David Vanover represented the Zeta Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at a national convention in Lawton Oklahoma April 18 21. About 240 delegates attended. Officers for next year were elected from Texas: Cac Canterbury Kilgore Jr College resident W D Hicks Jr El Mar Jr College vice president Dick Poteet Paris Jr College second vice president Janet Prope San Antonio Jr College historian. North Carolina was chosen as site for next year's convention.
