LIC plans a nine program Saturday series titled Views and Interviews from LIC airing Saturdays at 9 15 am starting April 3 on KREL with Bill Lyons as announcer. Texas JC Teachers To Meet April 9-10

LIC Graduates Order Rings Pins and Wristlets

BSU Easter Party Brings Faculty and Students Together
The BSU of LJC held its annual Easter party on Saturday March 20 1948 in the college gym with faculty and many students attending. Activities and games led by Mrs Ariana Watson Educational Director sparked enthusiasm followed by organ music and religious singing. Refreshments featured linen covered tables with homemade cakes from the Women's Missionary Union and chocolate rabbits and Easter eggs as centerpieces. The event ended as President Truitt Lively led a friendship circle and prayer.
