Gas Leak Under Scrutiny At Social Science Building
A small natural gas seep near the west end of the Social Science Building is being monitored by LC officials. Director of Operations Kyle Jennings says leaks from pinholes are common and may seal themselves, with no health hazards expected. If needed, the gas would be shut off and the line dug up, costing three to four hours of labor. Entex would locate and pull the meter at no charge if a leak is confirmed.

Six New Computers On The Way To Lee College
Kiwanis member Barney Gray, a 1935 LC graduate, donates 5000 dollars in memory of his wife Diana Phillips Gray to buy six Macintosh computers for the writing lab in Bonner Hall Rooms 226 and 227. Total workstations reach 21. installation expected next semester.

Parking violations rise at LC campus
Traffic violations on campus are parking tickets only, issued by LC. In spring 356 tickets were issued, about 27 weekly. no fines are charged yet, but unpaid tickets inform the dean and can affect grades. Students may appeal. permits help track vehicles for security.
