Tammy Wynette Shines In Fort Worth Country Show
A Fort Worth audience enjoyed Tammy Wynette backed by Young Country and a six piece band delivering heartbreak songs. The star performed I Dont Wanna Play House Singin My Song and Lonely Housewife while addressing divorce from George Jones. The concert mixed CW and bluegrass with Lightcrust Doughboys and Leon Rausch, drawing a warm reception from a largely nonkicker crowd. Wynette’s singing moved listeners, challenging stereotypes about country western music.
