Twenty six Lee College students competed March 26 at Alvin Community College in racquetball table tennis and badminton. SC’s team won first place overall with standout showings in singles doubles and mixed events. Benny Moskowitz praised their effort.

Nine LC students and six Lee College faculty will join Baytown Symphony Orchestra for a pops concert May 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Bicentennial Park. Judy Navarre won the Lee College student government presidency for 1980 81 after a tie breaking run off on April 16 and 17 The March election was voided over voting irregularities A second vote on April 9 and 16 produced a tie between Crawford and Navarre Gary Englert elected as vice president alongside Navarre both graduates of Robert E Lee High School Navarre also belonged to Lee Belles while Englert is active in the LCCircle K Club
