Horrible Scene on a Gallows in North Carolina

Raleigh Sept 28 Archie Kinsaule was hanged at Clinton in Samson county today for the murder of John Herring. The drop failed on the first attempt, life being ended only after a second drop and the sheriff ordered the body placed on the gallows again. The victim slashed knife wounds earlier in September and died eight minutes after the second drop.

Deadly street fight kills two at Port Tampa City

In Port Tampa City Florida on a September vigil two men Chas Barnett and Edward Stanford were killed in a street duel after an argument at the rail station. Barnett allegedly fired first and Stanford returned fire fatally wounding Barnett before both men died. Another man Hope Kalles was gravely wounded. The incident is linked to Chas Barnett as a possible instigator. Separately, engineers report progress for the Winnsboro to Camden Railroad with plans to connect to Seaboard Air Line infrastructure.
