Burglars fail to loot Liberty bank vault

Multiple reports from Anderton Aiken Bennettsville and Greenwood detail a botched bank burglary at Liberty where blast charges damaged the vault but left the Mosler safe intact. Operation for Appendicitis Dr Gill Wylie Performs

Special to The Observer Rock Hill Ss Nov 21 Dr Gill Wylie of New York performed an appendicitis operation on Dr T R Carothers yesterday. Doctors report the patient is recovering well. Wylie said the operation likely saved Carothers from death as infection had set in before the procedure.
