Rear Admiral William T. Sampson, retired, died at his city home this afternoon at about two oclock. The fatal hemorrhage followed days of semi religious withdrawal and a severe cerebral bleed. At his bedside were Mrs. Sampson, Mrs. Cluverius, his daughter, his two young sons Ralph and Harold, Dr. Dixon, nurses, and attendants.
