The Confederate Reunion plans for Dallas Texas run April 22 to 25 with encampments at fair grounds. Rail rates outside Texas are one cent per mile each way. within Texas one fare up to 100 miles and one cent per mile beyond 100 miles. The event features parades balls banquets and ample lodging for veterans and families. a Bureau of information led by John F Worley will arrange accommodations.

Officials refuse to disclose detailed schedules, citing ongoing overhaul of claims from friends of the deceased, delaying filing for several months.
