Cotton mill quarrel ends in double shooting in North Carolina
In Hardin North Carolina on a public road Earl Carpenter 21 shot and killed A M Kale 35 after Kale fired first. Kale died immediately while Carpenter, unconscious and likely to die, was wounded by Kale. Both men prominent Guston county citizens. Kale had shot Carpenter before dying.
