Greenwood readers report a raid by Chief Cure ton and Officer Henry Flinn on a blockade distillery at the Piney Woods plantation owned by Senator Tillman. Four gallons of whiskey and large beer stock were seized. the still and premises were later destroyed and the still to be shipped to Columbia.
