Not Guilty But Severely Censured in Local Murder Trial
After a swift but bitter bout in Conejos county Glenn Holbrook was found not guilty of murdering M. M. Lowther in Alamosa. The jury added strong censure for trespass into the deceased's home and urged surveillance and a ban on concealed weapons. The trial stretched over days with testimony on self defense and the home invasion in the February killing.
